The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC also passes the million points on AnTuTu

After MediaTek and its SoC Dimensity 9000, it is Qualcomm which must present its new premium mobile platform in early December. The SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (name to be confirmed) will in principle operate the same CPU part with ARMv9 cores and will deploy the know-how of the firm in the other compartments.

The benchmarks (still unofficial) are starting to reveal the capabilities of the two platforms and they should ensure a jump in performance thanks to the switch to 4 nm engraving.

We were thus able to discover that the Soc Dimensity 9000 (then called Dimensity 2000) reached a score of 1 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. It seems that the SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is also capable of achieving such a score.

The leaker Abhishek Yadav broadcasts a capture suggesting that Qualcomm’s SoC achieved a score of 1, 035 million points on the same benchmark. The details of the sub-scores are missing to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the two hardware platforms but they seem to be at the same level of performance, at the very first glance.
