The 8 series of smartphones from the realme brand is expanding with the arrival in France of the realme 8i . At less than 200 €, it is betting on value for money in the entry level. The highlight is the presence of a 6.6-inch FHD + LCD screen with refresh rate of up to 120 Hz .
This refresh rate of 100 Hz will logically allow a higher great fluidity. However, six different levels are possible: 20 Hz, 48 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz and therefore 100 Hz.
To allow this display 120 Hz and FHD +, the realme 8i is equipped an octocore SoC Helio G 96 to 2, 05 GHz (ARM CortexA 64 and Cortex-A 55) which was launched last summer by MediaTek. It is associated with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage. Realme highlights up to 3 GB of virtual RAM.
On the front is a photo sensor from 05 megapixels. At the rear, a main photo module of 50 megapixel (f / 1.8 aperture) is accompanied by two 2 megapixel sensors for portrait and macro mode.
The realme 8i has a large battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh with fast charging support 18 W.
In its configuration with 64 GB of storage, the realme 8i is offered at 199 € and 219 € for 128 Go . It is currently in pre-order and benefits from a reduction of 18 until 20 October for both configurations, which you can find in particular at Amazon at respectively 179 € and 199 € .
