Google Search: towards continuous scrolling on mobile

On mobile, the Google search engine will facilitate the scrolling of results by introducing so-called continuous scrolling. Once at the bottom of the page, the other results to be displayed will load automatically, without having to press the “See more” button as currently.

For the moment, this continuous scrolling begins to be deployed from phased in with most English searches in the United States. Google does not specify a deployment schedule on a global scale.

To see if this change will be likely to encourage users not to be satisfied with only the first results displayed by the search engine. search.

According to Google, the majority of users who want additional information tend to crawl up to four pages of search results. With continuous scrolling, this will be done transparently, at the risk of giving the impression of a news feed from a social network.
