The oldest Neanderthal in the Netherlands gets a face

“You look at the oldest Dutchman”, says curator Luc Amkreutz enthusiastic about the face of the 50. year old Neanderthal ‘Krijn’ in his Rijksmuseum of Antiquities. His head has been completely reconstructed from a small piece of his skull.
