Continuous Mixing of fine Materials

The MFKG type single-shaft continuous mixers by BHS Sonthofen are especially suitable for mixing fine materials. According to the manufacturer, the machine always provides a homogeneous mixing result in compliance with the specified requirements.

The various mixing components are initially accelerated forcefully by the rapidly rotating mixing tools. In this way, a product ring with turbulent swirls is created within the mixer. The mixing tools produce very high relative movements of the mixture. This guarantees optimal mixing and a reliably high homogeneity is achieved. Materials that are otherwise difficult to mix or are added in very different proportions can also be made homogenous. The self-cleaning rubber trough prevents caking and helps to reduce wear on the mixing tools, and a large inspection opening provides easy access for maintenance. Applications can be found in building industry, mining and waste disposal where the mixer is used for moistening dusts and fly ashes, sludge conditioning and slurry production.
