Hardheim, Germany – The Eirich mixing principle is an up-to-date innovation in the mixing technology sector – based on a development which began with ring pan mixers and planetary mixers more than a hundred years ago.
Unlike all other mixing systems, Eirich’s mixing technology allows users to optimally adapt the speed of the mixing tool to each different product. Due to circumferential speeds from 2 m/s to over 30 m/s, energy input into the mix can be controlled within broad limits. Together with the rotating mixing pan, this results in very high mixing quality. The mixing principle is completely unique.
Eirich intensive mixers are used both for batch and continuous processing. The range extends from a 1-litre laboratory mixer to a production mixer with a usable volume of 12,000 litres. These mixers can effortlessly deal with any consistency, from powdery, granular and liquid/pasty right up to viscous/ductile. The interplay between the rotating mixing pan, the rotating mixing tool and the stationary multi-purpose tool ensures perfect processing results. The small quantity of mixing tools required and their design combined with application-specific materials reduce servicing efforts. Primary wearing parts are easy to replace.
For special demands, Eirich has developed the Evactherm® system where processing takes place under vacuum. Main applications are the defined re-drying of bodies and/or the production of press-wet granules. Furthermore, the system allows several process steps such as mixing, reacting, granulating, drying, heating, cooling, stripping and plastifying to be performed one at a time or in combination in a single machine.
