Comber's new vacuum contact dryer Condry TDC allows for an efficient drying of pharmaceuticals or fine chemicals, pre–dried with simple centrifuge or simple siphon sucking processes.
The manufacturer especially highlights the new, slow running and fully heated stirrer for both shorter drying times and gentle agitation of sensitive products. Comber believes to have eliminated the problem of agglomerates forming with the new stirrer concept, so that no further delumping or breaking units are required.
A special configuration for the pharmaceutical industry provides optimised cleanability and assessability according to cGMP standards, Comber states. The chemical industry configuration puts the focus on the big dryer output that the fully heated agitator installations allow. The conical container bottom allows for an easy and complete, yet metered output.
