Mobile Crushers still demanded

The QJ330 Jaw Crusher

A QI330 tracked jaw crusher was the 2000th mobile unit, which was built at Sandvik Mining and Construction’s Ballygawley factory in Northern Ireland. A small celebration of this marque was attended Arlene Foster, Enterprise Minister for Northern Ireland.

The QI330 crusher was originally jointly designed by Fintec and Sandvik Rock Processing. Fintec and the Ballygawley factory (along with UK based manufacturer Extec) was acquired by Sandvik in spring 2007 and enabled Sandvik to add mid-size and light equipment to its customer offering. The QJ330 Jaw Crusher utilises the up-to-date technology, including finite element design techniques to minimise stress levels within the frame itself. Constructed for high mobility and high output, the feed hopper has hydraulically foldable sides for easy transport and quick set up on site. A bypass chute directs undersize through the grizzly to the discharge conveyor. The chassis facilitates easy inspection and access to maintenance points. Platforms around the diesel power pack provide access for inspection and service. A rotating warning beacon and siren provide visual and auditable warning of movement.
