Hazemag’s sand impactor was completely overhauled and presents four generously-sized doors providing full access to the internals, thus optimising service and maintenance work.
Laterally inserted blow bars permit quick and easy turning and replacement, the impact aprons have a push-button hydraulic adjustment system and the housing is lined with manageable, easy-to-change wear plates, with almost 97 percent of them being interchangeable, thus reducing spare part holdings. Designed with a reversible rotor to be fitted with two or four blow bars, the system can be run in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction, so that the blow bar striking edges are fully utilised. The sand impactor can be deployed both as a secondary or a tertiary crusher, to process gravel, granite, basalt and even slag, generating mechanical sand or fine and coarse chippings with minimum filler content and excellent cubicity. The plant with a capacity of 50 to 120 t/h is completed by a vibro-feeder, which provides for efficient feed material distribution over the whole width of the rotor.
