The new 7.5 meter diameter pelletising plate from Haver & Boecker is adaptable to various operating conditions.
Pelletising has process applications beyond the raw materials processing industry. In close cooperation with Haver Engineering Meißen process designers are also working on applying pelletising technology for processing by-products into materials that can be used, e.g. slurries from the washing of crushed stone. Together with the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, the Haver Group is developing new agglomeration processes for various types of materials as the agglomeration of fine, dispersed dust-type materials yields improved properties for transport, processing and handling. The topic of pelletising will surely gain more importance, especially with regard to environmental protection.
