Beckum, Germany – The Beumer Group has established a new subsidiary in Mexico. This is not only intended to increase sales, but in particular to enable the intralogistics supplier to provide improved support for its customers.

The Beumer Group, a supplier in the conveying and loading, palletising and packaging sectors as well as in sorting and distribution equipment, has established a new subsidiary in Mexico. This is not only intended to enable the intralogistics supplier to increase sales of new machines in this region. Customers can now also be better supported on site – through specific local presence and the associated breaking-down of language barriers, rapid supply of spare parts and improved service. The new subsidiary with its current total of five employees is based in Santa Fe, a business district in Mexico City. Business in Mexico has up to now been mainly concentrated on the cement sector. With the new company, Beumer is following the objective of also generating customers for its palletising and packaging equipment and for its sorting and distribution systems in other important markets in Mexico. “...we had a tremendous response when we took part in last year‘s Expo Pack in Mexico City”, says Roberto Romero, General Director of the Mexican subsidiary. Beumer de Mexico will therefore concentrate more on other promising markets – for example on the beverage and foodstuffs industry, the consumer goods industry and the mining sector.
