The acquisition of the Czech Koch Holding strengths the Beumer group’s position in the pipe conveyor market.

The recent acquisition of Koch Holding a.s. in the Czech Republic by the Beumer group will strengthen the group’s market position in the field of tubular belt conveyors.

Koch Holding was, for years, part and centre of excellence of Koch Transporttechnik in Wadgassen, Germany. While Koch Transporttechnik was taken over by FLSmidth in Denmark after the opening of insolvency proceedings some years ago, Koch Holding in the Czech Republic separated from the Koch group and became an independent enterprise. Within the context of this acquisition of the Koch Holding in the Czech Republic, the Beumer group took over around 20 employees currently working there. With the technology know-how of both companies, the group strengthens its position in the market of tubular belt conveyors. Beumer has recenrtly installed a 12.5 kilometre curved throughed belt conveyor system in the Chinese province of Sichuan and a 4.3 kilometre tubular belt conveyor in the Ukraine, which transports material in the upper and return strand in opposite directions.
