BulkSolids Europe 2008 in Prague succeeded in bridging the gap between academia and industry. Experts from all over Europe and even Asia, Australia and the USA met to discuss the latest trends in the bulk materials handling industry. The 3rd BulkSolids Europe, which will take place on September 9-10, 2010 in Glasgow, Scotland will repeat the success of 2008 and take it even further!
If we look into the future then one main topic comes up that is of interest to all of us today: energy. Therefore, the focus of the 3rd BulkSolids Europe will be on energy. It is fascinating to realize that on the one hand energy is required to power bulk solids handling systems and that on the other hand bulk solids handling systems are required to supply the coal or biomass for power stations.
