Business–IT company CSB-System wants to take its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions into the chemical industry: At this years ACHEMA, the company presents an ERP solution for the chemical sector as well as mobile data capture and processing technology for process plants.
Featuring software processes which are optimally pre-defined for the various challenges and requirements of the chemical sector, the new ERP solution was designed in dialogue with industrial customers from different branches of the chemical industry, CSB-System said.
The company also introduces solutions for mobile data capture and processing along the entire production chain – from goods receiving to production, picking, dispatch, transport and field service, speakers stated. With a mobile design, the information flow increases efficiency of business processes considerably and allows for significant cost savings, CSB believes.
With the new “CSB-Mobile-Controlling” it is possible to access evaluations from the ERP system and display them on tablet PCs or smartphones. This technology allows to automatically prepare and transfer data of all CSB-System evaluation programs to mobile devices, helping the user to control business-critical operating figures and time savings in data processing at any place.
The new CSB Batch Information System helps to enable product identification and traceability but also integrated web shop connections or the secure handling of hazardous materials into a process plant's IT environment. CSB beleives this solution also helps to efficiently manage and monitor storages and warehouses from simple block storage to highly automated high-bay storage systems.
