“Know-how meets business” – that will be the motto once again, when the International Powder and Bulk Solids Industry comes together for the third edition of the show in Ahmedabad, the economical centre of the state Gujarat.
The next highlight for the international powder & bulk industry is getting closer and closer: From March 13 to 15, 2012, Ahmedabad, the economical center of the state Gujarat, will be the bustling new home of the 3rd Powder & Bulk Solids India 2012. Leading global players of the powder and bulk solids handling and processing industries like Aerzen Machines India, Schenck Process India, Nord Drive Systems, Zeppelin have already confirmed their participation.
The 3rd edition of the unique powder & bulk event on the Indian subcontinent comes up with some practical innovations. Not only the high-caliber exhibition, also the accompanying conferences provide a meeting platform for manufacturers, developers and end users to discuss the latest trends in chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals and bulk materials handling.
For the first time, the organizers Vogel Media and NürnbergMesse also offer an informative short trip that combines the visit of Powder & Bulk Solids India 2012 with valuable insights into the Indian economy. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the largest private port and special economic zone in India.
In addition to the exhibition and conference, Powder & Bulk Solids India will also include an "Exhibitors’ Forum." Here, right at the heart of the trade fair, companies will be presenting their innovations covering the storage, processing and transportation of powder and bulk solids.
A new feature of the supporting trade conference is the division into two theme blocks: "From port to plant. Challenges in energy production" with lectures for the Bulk Solids Industry along with "Powders & granulates in chemicals and plastic production – innovative concepts for optimum results" with the latest developments from the Powder Sector. The conference will be held once again in 2012 under the chairmanship of the distinguished expert on Powder & Bulk, Dr. Vijay K. Agarwal, from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Another new feature: the number of workshops at the trade conference has been doubled. The themes are among others: "Pneumatic conveying", "Explosion protection", "Particle Segregation Prevention" and “Hopper & Silo Design”. The certified workshops held by and with Industrial heavyweights such as FLSmidth, Jenike & Johanson or Ind-Ex not only offer valuable practical information, but also plenty of opportunity for intensive networking with International experts.
Powder & Bulk Solids India is unique on the Indian sub-continent. On the one hand it links the exhibition and congress in a very fruitful, rewarding approach. On the other, the fair draws on profound sector know-how from its membership of the Powder & Bulk Network, a worldwide alliance of International trade fairs and conferences for mechanical process technologies.
