Thyssenkrupp Uhde and the Mongolian government reach agreement on coal-to-liquids plant and heat recovery coke making plant in Mongolia. Thyssenkrupp Uhde also signed a licensing agreement with the Ulan Bator-based company Industrial Corporation of Mongolia for use of Thyssenkrupp coal gasification technology.

ThyssenKrupp EPC contractors Uhde have supplied and commissioned a 3500 tonnes per day urea production plant in Sluiskil, Netherlands, for Yara of Norway. For the plant, which took three years to build, Yara has invested EUR 400 million.

Dortmund, Germany – Uhde has won a follow-up contract for the construction of a new coke oven plant from Dragon Steel Corporation in Taiwan. This expansion will enable Dragon Steel Corporation to increase its annual coke production capacity to 2.2 million tonnes.
