City, Country – Indian bulk export specialists Salgaocar & Bros. has signed an agreement with Cargotec for the supply of a range of MacGregor transloading equipment for handling iron ore at the company’s new terminal in Goa, India.
Cargotec’s scope of supply will include following MacGregor equipment: cranes, hoppers, a deck-conveyor system with a rated capacity of 2000 t/h and a shiploader. The system will be tailor-made for the customer to suit its intended operations in Goa. Cargotec will deliver its equipment by May 2011 and the terminal is scheduled to be operational in the latter half of next year.
