At this year’s Bauma exhibition, Godwin Pumps will debut their newest CD Series addition, the model CD500M Dri-Prime pump, a 600 x 400 mm (24-inch x 18-inch) centrifugal pump capable of flow rates to 51 m3/min (13 500 GPM), heads to 61 m (200 feet) and solids handling to 104 mm (4 inches) in diameter.
The Dri-Prime venturi priming system on the CD500M provides suction lift capability to 8.5 m (28 feet) and continuous uninterrupted operation, even in intermittent dry suction conditions. Godwin’s Primeguard controller provides remote monitoring and programmable operations that start and stop the pump with no operator intervention required. As a standard, the CD500M is offered with a 460 hp Caterpillar C-15 diesel engine with various diesel and electric engines offered as options. For easy lifting and transporting a single-point lifting frame and built-in fork truck pockets are standard on all machines.
