The Prosonic T FMU30 is an ultrasonic continuous level measurement sensor, which, according to its manufacturer Endress+Hauser, is particularly easy to service and maintain in view of its two-wire design. The menu-guided start-up takes place via a graphic display. With the seven languages currently available, the simple start-up can, in most cases, take place in the local language, thereby providing extra assurance.

All warning and alarm messages are shown on the four-line plain text display and guarantee fast remedy of problems. The envelope curve can also be shown on the display. This is an important instrument for measured value analysis for the time-of-flight measurement method. As the results of analysis are displayed directly onsite, this ensures quick and accurate error diagnostics. The new level senor is suitable for a wide variety of applications in liquids and bulk solids, and covers a maximum measuring range 3.5 of metres in bulk solids. It is available with a 1 ½“ and 2“ process connection and is designed for temperatures from -20 to +60 °C.
