Freeman Technology has Introduced a new flexible an intuitive graphical user interface for its FT4 powder rheometer that features an enhanced real-time data display.
The new graphical user interface for Freeman Technology’s FT4 Powder Rheometer will be on show at Interphex 2011 (March 29-31, 2011, New York). According to the manufacturer, the flexible and intuitive new interface, with an enhanced real-time data display, enables all FT4 users, whether new to the system or experienced with it, to fully exploit its multi-functionality. The new software is being supplied with all new instruments and offered as a free upgrade to existing FT4 users.
The FT4 combines shear, bulk, dynamic and axial powder testing methodologies for comprehensive powder characterisation. For new users the GUI provides step-by-step guidance on sample preparation and running tests, whereas experienced operators have complete flexibility to create, manage and run user-specific protocols. ‘Characterisation’ mode directs the user towards a combination of tests that provide a complete profile of a powder’s behaviour while ‘Application’ modes offer test methods that support a particular process or unit operation.
