SNC-Lavalin awarded two Contracts by Potash Ridge Corporation

SNC-Lavalin has been awarded two separate contracts by Potash Ridge Corporation, a near term producer of premium fertilizer in North America. The first contract is for the first phase of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) program for the Valleyfield project, located in Valleyfield, Quebec, and the second is for the development of the Blawn Mountain project, located in Utah, USA.

MBE Minerals reports it has secured yet another export contract from Australia for the supply of its custom engineered and manufactured heavy duty vibrating screens. The South African original equipment manufacturer (OEM) attributes the ongoing successes being achieved in Australia to its ability to produce vibrating screens that offer reliable operation in the mining sector.

Superior Industries doubles Size of Plant in Columbus after Expansion

In addition to the plant expansion, Superior Industries doubled the engineering staff dedicated to developing the screens, washers and portable plants.

Superior Industries, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, recently completed a major expansion at its manufacturing plant in Columbus (NE), USA. In addition, the 44-year-old company doubled the engineering staff dedicated to developing the screens, washers and portable plants manufactured and shipped from Nebraska.

Terex sells Material Handling and Port Solutions Business to Konecranes

Konecranes signed an agreement to acquire from Terex Corporation its Material Handling & Port Solutions, including the range of Gottwald harbor cranes.

Terex has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Material Handling and Port Solutions business (MHPS) to Konecranes for total consideration of approximately USD 1.3 billion. The agreement provides Terex with the ability to continue to pursue discussions with Zoomlion Heavy Industries Science & Technology Co., Ltd. on a potential sale of the company at USD 31 per share with the MHPS business or, alternatively, for the sale of Terex without the MHPS business.
