Clean and long-lasting Conveyors

In belt conveying, most of the dust is develops at and just after the loading point.
Conveyor Belt Cleaning
Belt loading and material transfer point, resp., are prone to increased spillage and wear, due to the impact of the falling material and its settling. Newly developed slider cradles minimise these undesirable effects. Located under the skirt board in the chute box after the impact cradle, the units utilize “double-life” slider bars, which offer a superior seal with low friction.

Pressure, Monitoring and Safety – the Life of a Rota Val Rotary Valve

HD600 rotary valve being pressure tested by Baseefa for ATEX certification
Rotary Valves
While casting is generally a reliable method, every now and again a flaw in the casting can occur. To x-ray every casting is impractical and expensive, so to ensure the integrity of every explosion/flame containment rotary valve that leaves the factory, Rota Val has always hydrostatically pressure tested all iron valves to 20 barg and stainless steel to 13 barg for fifteen minutes before certification is provided.

Shovel & Excavator Payload Monitoring delivers Productivity

According to MineWare founder and CEO Andrew Jessett, the key to improving shovel productivity and reliability is to provide timely, accurate and clear data to all stakeholders in the shovel operation.
Truck & Shovel Mining
Global mining technology company MineWare believes shovel-based payload monitoring is set to supersede traditional truck-based methods through the delivery of significant cost savings, more accurate data and ultimately, more consistent payloads in trucks. MineWare founder and CEO Andrew Jessett claims variations in operator performance and material properties remain a significant and costly issue for the mining industry globally.

Bulk Material Receiving Unit at Nickel Mine in New Caledonia

Example of a Samson bulk material receiving unit from Aumund.
Bulk Handling System
French Eramet Group, the supplier of the Doniambo nickel mine in New Caledonia, has installed a combination of a chain bucket elevator and a Samson bulk material receiving unit manufactured by Aumund Fördertechnik. Due to the special properties of the receiving unit, material can be unloaded directly from trucks or excavators without intermediate storage and transported by conveyor directly to the installation.
