Free, Downloadable Vibratory Equipment Sizing and Application Programs

Through the company’s Orange University Program, Eriez has developed two new downloadable programs to simplify the process of determining the proper vibratory equipment for specific applications. Both programs are offered for immediate, free download from the Eriez website.

The Bin Guide selects the proper bin vibrator based on the material being fed, desired feed rate and size of the hopper.

The Feeder Tray Capacity Calculator (FeederCap) determines the appropriate tray size based on the material being fed and desired flow rate. The capacity of a feeder equals the material density by velocity by width by depth of the tray. The Bin Guide selects the proper bin vibrator based on the material being fed, desired feed rate and size of the hopper. As the dimensional information is entered, the Bin Guide presents a three-dimensional sketch of the bin geometry. The program offers a complete library of material densities, allowing users to easily look up and enter this information.
